The objective of the consultations is to identify considerations that should be considered by the NBSAP to promote gender equality, women's empowerment, and intergenerational equity. The focus groups will be a space for active listening that will allow for the collection of qualitative information on:
Gender-differentiated use, roles, knowledge, and needs of women and men in relation to the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity,
Prevailing gender inequalities in the various biodiversity sectors
Gender differentiated local contributions to conservation and nature-based solutions,
Gender differentiated local biodiversity conservation and sustainable use priorities,
Potential gender-responsive nature-based solutions that can be developed at the local level (barriers and opportunities)
