CBD open call for submissions of views and information in preparation for the mid-term review of the Gender Plan of Action 2023-2030

In paragraph 6, the Conference of the Parties encouraged Parties to submit information on efforts and steps taken to implement the Gender Plan of Action in their national reporting, including sex disaggregated data. In paragraph 9, the Conference of the Parties requested the Executive Secretary, based inter alia on the information received pursuant to paragraph 6, and with the support of relevant partners, to undertake a mid-term review of implementation of the Gender Plan of Action, identifying progress, lessons learned, and further work to be undertaken for consideration by the Subsidiary Body on Implementation at a meeting held before the seventeenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties.

 To support the timely preparation of documentation for the mid-term review to be considered by the Subsidiary Body on Implementation, Parties, other Governments, indigenous peoples and local communities, and relevant stakeholders are invited to submit views and information on their efforts to implement the Gender Plan of Action, including sex-disaggregated data, the progress achieved, and the lessons learned, no later than 30 September 2025.
