GBV is a complex, sensitive issue. Programming and research that engages with GBV survivors, or that seeks to prevent or address GBV in any way, raises requires special safety and ethical considerations which must be taken into account in order to ensure physical and emotional safety, confidentiality, non-maleficence and beneficence are paramount.
