In September 2025, during the UN General Assembly, the UN Youth Office will convene the #YouthLead Festival — a global moment to celebrate the leadership of young people and spotlight their role in shaping a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future. Anchored around the High-Level Plenary Meeting commemorating the 30th anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth (WPAY), the Festival will bring together governments, UN entities, youth organizations, and civil society to reflect on progress and mobilize bold, intergenerational action for the road ahead.
In the lead-up to the #YouthLead Festival, the UN Youth Office invites young people and partners from around the world to come together between July and August 2025 to host and participate in #YouthLead Dialogues. These conversations are a space to reflect on progress, share lived experiences, and propose bold solutions for advancing youth rights, participation, and empowerment, ultimately bringing local voices into global decision-making.
This #YouthLead Dialogues – Online Space on SparkBlue, co-organized by the UN Youth Office and UNDP, is your opportunity to contribute independently — whether as an individual or part of a youth group. Share your ideas, insights, and priorities to help shape the global conversation on youth.

Every idea, insight, and experience shared through the #YouthLead Dialogues — including those posted here on SparkBlue — will contribute to a global summary document that will be presented to world leaders during the High-Level Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly on 25 September 2025 commemorating the 30th anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth (WPAY).
Your contribution will help ensure that youth perspectives are reflected in global frameworks such as WPAY, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the Pact for the Future — and will spotlight what matters most to young people today.
