H. E. Alexandra Rydmark is Sweden's Ambassador to Jordan. She has previously been Deputy Director of the Swedish Dialogue Institute for the Middle East and North Africa, Diplomatic Adviser to former Foreign Minister Margot Wallström at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Office of the Minister and Head of the Political Section at the Cairo Embassy.

Earlier in her career, Alexandra Rydmark served as a Trade Dispute Settlement Lawyer and Legal Advisor at the European Commission in Brussels and at the UN headquarters in New York, where she worked at the UN Secretary - General's Office.

Ambassador Rydmark has, among other degrees, a law degree, speaks four languages ​​and has very long experience of Middle Eastern issues.

Ms. Randa Aboul-Hosn has been appointed as UNDP Resident Representative for Jordan.

Prior to this appointment, Randa was UNDP Resident Representative for Egypt (2019-2021) and UNDP Country Director in Egypt since January 2017. She also served as UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Algeria (2013-2016) and UNDP Country Director in Yemen (2010-2013). Prior to that, she was Special Advisor to the Directorate (2007-2010) and Programme Advisor (2005-2006) in the Regional Bureau for Arab States in New York, USA. In 2004-2005, she was Assistant Resident Representative in UNDP Yemen and Policy Specialist/Programme Management in UNDP Lebanon during 1995-2004.

Randa holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management from the University of London, a Master of Arts in Social and Behavioural Science and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

She speaks Arabic, English and French.

Randa took up her new assignment as UNDP Resident Representative in Jordan on 2 October 2021.

H. E. Dr. Mohammed Khashashneh is Acting Secretary General to the Ministry of Environment of Jordan.

Prior to this appointment, Kashashneh was Secretary General Assistant for Technical Affairs at the Jordanian Ministry of Environment (1 Aug 2019 – 18 Jun 2020) and Director of Hazardous Substances and waste management Directorate at the Jordanian Ministry of Environment (18 Nov 2004 – 1 Aug 2019). He also served as Director of Swaqa/ Hazardous Waste Treatment Centre and Head of the Hazardous Substances Management Section at the Jordanian Ministry of Environment (20 May 1999 – 18 Nov 2004). Prior to that, he served as Environmental Researcher at the Jordanian Ministry of Environment/Air Monitoring Department (13 Oct 1996 – 20 May 1999).

Dr.Kashashneh holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering as well as a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the Azerbaijan State Petroleum Academy.

He speaks English, Arabic, and Russian.

Dr.Kashashneh took up his new assignment as Secretary General to the Ministry of Environment on the 18th of June 2020.
