This strategic guidance paper is intended to provide a framework for UNDP teams and their partners to develop coherent and effective responses to information pollution. It seeks to understand the issue of information pollution through the lens of governance, human rights, and social cohesion, laying out UNDP's interest, niche and added value in this relatively new field. It also provides options for effective long-term and short-term programming.
