The Food Systems Thinking Guide for UN Resident Coordinators and UN Country Teams is a digital resource developed under the framework of the UN Food Systems Task Force, with valuable contributions from the inter-agency Working Group on Supporting UN Country Team Coordination and Joint Programming. It is designed to support food systems transformation as a critical pathway toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. 

The guide emphasizes a systems approach, fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders – including governments, civil society, and the private sector – to address interconnected challenges such as food security, environmental sustainability, and social equity. By integrating practical tools, real-world case studies and strategic insights, the guide will help UNRCs and UNCTs enhance interagency coordination, promote the development of impactful policies and identify innovative solutions.
