Gender and Biodiversity: Learning Through Play
This collection of jigsaw puzzles and video explore the connections between gender and biodiversity in support of National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) implementation.
Each puzzle invites participants to discover how women, youth, resource users, schools, and nature (including plants and animals) contribute to biodiversity conservation, sustainable use, restoration, and healthy ecosystems.
Designed as both learning activities and communication tools, the puzzles turn complex biodiversity messages into an interactive experience. As participants piece together each puzzle, they uncover the connections between gender equality and effective biodiversity action.
Once completed, each puzzle reveals a clear biodiversity message linked to a key NBSAP theme; helping participants connect what they have learned with practical actions for people and nature.
