The 9th International Meeting on Triangular Co-operation: Triangular co-operation in a rapidly shifting development co-operation landscape

The 9th International Meeting on Triangular Co-operation, held on 29–30 October 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal, brought together partners from the private sector, development co-operation agencies, ministries, funds, philanthropic organizations, banks and international finance institutions, to discuss how triangular partnerships can stay agile and effective amid today’s rapidly evolving global landscape. 

Against the backdrop of shifting geopolitical dynamics, evolving financing systems, and growing development challenges, the meeting explored ways to translate the commitments of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) into concrete action, shared learning, and stronger global partnerships through Triangular Cooperation.
