UNDP Seoul Policy Centre Supports South-South and Triangular Cooperation on Whistleblower Protection Framework in Tonga and Vanuatu 
 

In support of Tonga’s efforts to strengthen its integrity system, the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre (USPC) and the UNDP Pacific Office facilitated a technical exchange on 17 April 2026 under the SDG Partnership on Whistleblower Protection. The event brought together the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of the Republic of Korea (ROK) and the Tonga Anti-Corruption Commission (TACC).

Building on the Republic of Korea’s experience, Tonga and Vanuatu are working to strengthen whistleblower protection systems in ways that are tailored to their respective national contexts. Against this backdrop, the technical exchange provided a valuable platform for practical knowledge sharing between ACRC and TACC, while supporting continued collaboration and peer learning across the Global South.
