South-South and Triangular Cooperation offers countries practical, cost-effective pathways to accelerate implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, the Paris Agreement and the broader 2030 Agenda. It is a critical enabler of UNDP's Nature Pledge, which aims to support more than 140 countries to halt and reverse nature loss and to accelerate action toward a resilient, Nature-positive future aligned with global commitments.
This second volume, compiled from UNDP's portfolio of support to the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, highlights emerging areas of cooperation including digital traceability, gender-responsive biodiversity action, circular economy and green finance exchanges, community based resilience, and transboundary ecosystem management.
Together, these solutions illustrate the strengths of SSTC: collective problem-solving, knowledge cocreation, accelerated diffusion of innovation, and the scaling of context-appropriate, cost-effective approaches with high return on investment.
