On 4 July 2025, the Government of Seychelles, in partnership with UNDP and the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), launched the Tailored Integrated Approach for Early Warning Systems (TIAEWS SYC) project to strengthen national disaster preparedness and response. By harnessing digital technologies, the new project will promote the transition from reactive disaster response to proactive, data-driven, and inclusive systems that safeguard lives and resources in Seychelles.
