Policy Paper
The UN Secretariat has released the paper (E/C.16/2025/2) examining governance and institutional approaches to advance sustainable, inclusive, and evidence-based SDG solutions. It highlights actions to accelerate progress in key transition areas, emphasizing systems thinking and the interlinkages among Goals and targets.
The paper will inform discussions at the 24th session of the Committee of Experts on Public Administration (7–11 April) and contribute to the 2025 ECOSOC and HLPF sessions, including the ministerial declaration. It calls for stronger, more resilient governance grounded in equity, sustainability, and solidarity to maintain SDG momentum amid ongoing global crises, conflicts, and declining trust in institutions.
