The Pacific Perspectives 2022: Accelerating Climate Action identifies priority adaptation strategies to strengthen climate resilience in the Pacific, especially considering ocean-based solutions to climate change. The report describes how trade policies and digitizing trade can help countries access goods and services that can help mitigate climate change while reducing the impact that trade has on the environment. A four-point climate agenda describes the support available to policymakers through intergovernmental organizations, multilateral development banks and other frameworks, and stresses the roles which global regional cooperation can play to deliver on SIDS' ambitious goals.
