Djibouti Launches the Project on “Tailored Intelligence for Actionable Early Warning Systems”
On 30 October 2025, Djibouti launched a new initiative to strengthen the country’s preparedness for natural disasters. Funded by the Government of China and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the initiative aims to enhance Djibouti’s capacity to prevent risks, respond effectively to crises, and protect vulnerable communities from droughts, floods, and earthquakes. The project reflects cooperation and a shared commitment to strengthening community resilience against climate-related risks in the region.
