Liberian President George M. Weah has called on the international community to address the inherent climate finance imbalance. President Weah lamented that Africa, especially Liberia, which has the least greenhouse gas emissions, maintains and protects large tracts of forest reserves but bears the brunt of climate change without accruing much benefit from the solutions and financing for tackling climate change.
