The UN Food Systems Task Force has released the Food Systems Thinking Guide to support UN Resident Coordinators and Country Teams in advancing food systems transformation. Developed collaboratively by 13 UN entities, the guide offers practical tools and examples to integrate food systems into planning, advocacy, and policy efforts.

It emphasizes a systems approach to address interconnected challenges like climate change, poverty, and biodiversity loss, with a pilot phase set for 2025 to refine the tool based on country-level feedback. UN Resident Coordinators and UN Country Teams are encouraged to pilot the Food Systems Thinking Guide in their day-to-day work and share feedback through this survey to help ensure it evolves to meet their needs.
