Welcome to the UNESCO Partnership Strategy 2026-2029 discussion room for National Commissions!
We are thrilled to have you join this important conversation. UNESCO’s new Partnership Strategy (2026–2029) will build on our mandate to leverage diverse, high-impact partnerships in service of the new Programme and Budget (43 C/5).
Building on the launch event scheduled for 18 July, we invite you to share your thoughts on five key questions. The discussion room will be open until 31 July.
After the consultation closes, we will compile the key insights into a synthesis that will become an integral part of the knowledge base for finalizing the strategy.
Thank you for your participation and valuable contributions!

Dear colleagues,
Following our online consultation last week, I am pleased to welcome you to this dedicated space for National Commissions to contribute to the development of UNESCO’s next Partnership Strategy (2026–2029). I will serve as your moderator and look forward to your reflections on how we can strengthen our collaboration and make partnerships even more impactful in the years ahead.
You are encouraged to respond to any of the guiding questions above, share your own priorities or experiences, and build on each other’s ideas. Please indicate which question you are replying to, and feel free to post in the language of your choice—just use the language option in the top right corner of the page.
If you’ve already shared written inputs through other channels, we invite you to upload them here so fellow colleagues can engage and we can build a shared vision together.
Thank you in advance for your insights and continued commitment. We look forward to a rich and constructive exchange.
With best regards,
Edna
Dear Edna,
I would like to comment for the UK National Commission for UNESCO, but am only able to do so in August, not July.
We have done a lot of work in this field.
Are we able to do this? It would be good to be in touch with you about it, perhaps via email or Teams/Zoom.
Best wishes,
James
Dear James,

All the best,
Edna
