Side Event of the 53rd session of the UN Statistical Commission: Implementation of the UN Legal Identity Agenda

Thank you for your interest in the Side Event of the 53rd session of the UN Statistical Commission: Implementation of the UN Legal Identity Agenda. We are pleased to share with you the recording here.

Background:

This side event provides an opportunity to acquire a more detailed overview of activities under the UN Legal Identity Agenda umbrella. Topics to be discussed include examples of UNLIA implementation in Africa, the work under UNDESA/WHO Technical Advisory Group on COVID-19 Mortality, an overview of regional progress and outcomes of the Second Ministerial Conference on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific, as well as an information session on the IOM Institutional Strategy on Legal Identity.
