This ECOSOC Youth Forum side event is co-organized by the COP28 Youth Climate Champion (YCC) and the United Nations Development programme. It will take place in hybrid format on 26 April, from 1:30 pm to 3 pm EST. The session will explore how youth continue to take climate action after COVID-19 and in the lead up to COP28, including green recovery opportunities. It will discuss engaging young people in decision-making and negotiations. The importance of youth-led climate action for achieving all the SDGs will be explored, along with the critical role of partnerships in helping youth engage in climate action with development partners, country representatives, and young climate leaders.

The event will be hosted in a hybrid format at the UAE Mission to the United Nations. The event will be in person, but there will be the option to connect virtually.

This is great I can't wait to participate in this forum tomorrow. As a youth who has interest in preserving the environment, this forum will be a great space for me to learn from expert in the subject of discussion and youth like myself who share the same interest as mine. I love the smell of nature and what it got to offer and will always draw closer to anything that seeks to preserve it.
