We are on a mission to foster the global movement for digital environmental sustainability.
Climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss threaten our planet’s capacity to sustain us. Business as usual is no longer a choice we can afford. Digital technologies and capabilities, harnessed with care, can facilitate the speed and scale of change needed to reach critical sustainability goals. The vitality of our communities and environment depends on it.

About Codes
Founded in 2021, CODES is a global, multi-stakeholder coalition.
We provide resources and opportunities for our global contributors to set priorities, take concerted action, and develop capacities for an inclusive, sustainability-driven digital transformation. Mandated by the UN Secretary-General, CODES is dedicated to advancing environmental digital sustainability, working closely in collaboration with the UN Office of the Secretary-General's Envoy on Technology.
