Today 01 April, a community outreach exercise in the North of Mauritius was organised by the UNDP team to collect information for the Stockholm+50 initiative. This was an opportunity to start a conversation with inhabitants from the villages of Grand Baie and Pereybere, and enable them to share their thoughts on how to achieve a healthy planet for the prosperity of all.
This event involved the participation of the UNDP Mauritius Accelerator Lab, the UNDP Gender Expert and the GEF Small Grants Programme. Similar consultations are planned in the coming weeks with different stakeholders, such as the youth, academia and private sector, to ensure an inclusive all-of-society dialogue.
