The Climate Finance Network project supports Asia-Pacific countries for mainstreaming climate change into the governance and public financial management system.
Due to their legislative and oversight function, Parliaments and parliamentarians are key actors in accelerating climate action. To learn how parliaments in the Asia-Pacific region are taking forward the climate change agenda and what more they could do to galvanize regional, national, and local efforts necessary to address the climate emergency and achieve the SDGs, a virtual dialogue and knowledge sharing event will be held on 4 of November.
Participants will also learn about strategies for greening COVID recovery efforts and increasing climate finance accountability.
The dialogue is designed to establish a community of practice among interested parliamentarians and parliamentary staff.
