On Wednesday 17 March at 11:00 GMT+7, Youth Co:Lab, an initiative co-led by UNDP and Citi Foundation, and the Youth Solutions Program of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) will host a conversation on how young social entrepreneurs in Asia-Pacific have weathered the storm, and what concrete solutions they have found to overcome COVID-19!

One year on since COVID-19 was officially recognized as a pandemic on 11 March 2020, it is clear that the road to recovery will be a long and hard one. The sheer loss of life, the number of people who have lost their jobs, missed out on education, or been hit by other forms of hardship induced by the crisis, is unfathomable. Young people are among the hardest hit.

However, in spite of the deep and disproportionate impacts that they have experienced as a result of the pandemic, young people across the world have mobilized in unprecedented numbers. They have demonstrated the huge value they represent as leaders in COVID-19 response and recovery and, more widely, in sustainable development.

The Youth Solutions Report is an annual flagship publication of the Youth Solutions Program of the SDSN, which celebrates these achievements. And this year, it includes a chapter authored by Youth Co:Lab specifically focused on “Solutions from Young Social Entrepreneurs in Asia-Pacific to the COVID-19 Pandemic”.

Join us online for a conversation on the journey of young social entrepreneurs in Asia-Pacific over the last year, where we will be joined by:
