An annual week of action, awareness, and accountability for the Sustainable Development Goals.

Whether in-person or virtually, we will come together in 2021 to cultivate ideas, identify solutions, and build partnerships with the power to solve a wide range of complex global problems from inequality to climate change. Global Goals Week is what it looks like when the SDG community comes together.

Whether you are looking to hear from UN leaders or understand structural racism with DeRay Mckesson, fight for women’s rights with Ilwan Elman, or learn about how you can tackle climate change alongside Jamie Margolin - we will have something for everyone and so much more.

Background

The countries of the United Nations made a universal promise to leave no one behind in achieving a peaceful and prosperous world by 2030. Global Goals Week 2021 is a shared commitment between partners across civil society, business, academia, and the UN system to accelerate action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially during the UN General Assembly high-level week. It is also an opportunity to speak out as one voice, share ideas and transformative solutions in the fight to recover better from global challenges.
