The Global Fund for Coral Reefs (GFCR) is a blended finance instrument that leverages financial capital and investments to restore coral reefs. Launched in September 2020, this is the first UN impact Fund dedicated to SDG 14 and it calls to eliminate the 'coral reef funding gap.'
