To support farmers and fishers with practical techniques for sustainability, the Caribbean WaterNet (Cap-Net UNDP) (UNDP's network for capacity development in sustainable water management), The Faculty of Food and Agriculture of The University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine and the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) have together created two useful training manuals on water use efficiency in agriculture and sustainable aquaculture practice for Caribbean SIDS. Through a series of learning modules, both of these materials aim to improve food security and build green growth in the region. New ideas in efficiency and sustainability in agriculture will work to mitigate the impact of climate change on crop growth.
