In July 2021, UND Regional Bureau for Arab States (RBAS) launched a consultation to engage regional civil society actors including academia, youth, disability activists, representatives of regional organizations, etc. into the formulation of the next UNDP Regional Programme Document for Arab States 2022- 2025.
This exercise aimed to sharpened understanding of main challenges and opportunities in the Arab region, including priority areas of intervention for UNDP future programming.
This report summarises key points raised by the consultation participants. Consultations have also been held with a wider range of stakeholders including donors and partners, regional institutions, UNDP Country offices in Arab States and territories, etc. The insights gathered will feed into the formulation of the new UNDP Rgional Programme Document for Arab States for the next 4 years.
