Launched by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) Human Development Report Office, this Special Report highlights a declining sense of security and safety in rich and poor countries alike, despite years of improving human development. It recommends that policymakers consider protection, empowerment, and solidarity alongside one another so that human security, planetary considerations and human development all work together and not despite each other.
