Humanitarian Crisis in North Macedonia

The World Roma Federation has launched a campaign to raise awareness and support for 80 families (over 500 people) living in inhumane and unsanitary conditions in North Macedonia.  The situation in which these families are forced to succumb to is beyond reproach. More needs to be done to remedy and provide temporary relief until the COVID pandemic is subdued in the Region. 

The Roma families are currently living without the following:

• No clean water
• No Food
• No heat or electricity
• In makeshift homes
• Have no support or voices within the government to facilitate any standard protocol for provisions or relief. 

Today, the World Roma Federation is asking its supporters for help.  To answer the inept response in the region we have developed an Emergency Humanitarian Program for this settlement.
