STOCKHOLM+50 INITIATIVE: DIALOGUE WITH THE YOUTH
Today, 11 April, a working session for the Stockholm +50 initiative was held at Maison Familiale Rurale du Nord, in Calebasse. The event was organised by the UNDP GEF Small Grants Programme, in collaboration with UNDP Mauritius and the Fondation Ressources et Nature (FORENA). Around 40 youth aged 15 to 18 engaged in group conversations and were able to discuss what can be done to create a healthier relationship between humans and the planet.
Today's consultation was an opportunity to include insights from young people in the report which will be submitted to the Stockholm +50 Global Event, and is in line with the objective of creating an inclusive whole-of-society dialogue.
Congratulations for reaching out to this group, in order to make their voices heard!
