Deep Dive - Pilot Self-Assessment Framework on the Effectiveness of South-South Cooperation

The tool promotes country ownership, data use, transparency and inclusiveness in SSTC policies and practices. Developed by Colombia in 2022, and piloted in 7 countries, it is a self-assessment that enables peer-learning opportunities to strengthen development results.

APC-Colombia, as lead entity of the GPEDC Action Area 2.3 on Supporting country-led development effectiveness of South-South Cooperation (SSC), worked with seven pilot countries to develop and pilot a Self-Assessment Framework on the Effectiveness of South-South Cooperation. 

This document presents the result of the pilot exercise led by Colombia to test a Monitoring Framework for the Effectiveness of South-South Cooperation.
