Dear colleagues,

Following the endorsement of the Regional Strategy on HIV, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B&C and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights among Key Populations at the 21st Ordinary Session of the Assembly of ECOWAS Health Ministers in August 2020, a Baseline Self-Assessment was conducted in 2022. This involved the use of a regional scorecard to track progress towards engaging key populations more effectively in their national responses. The key technical assistance and capacity building needs of countries to facilitate the implementation of the strategy were also assessed. The findings of these studies were presented at a regional meeting on HIV & AIDS held in Abidjan in October 2022.

The West African Health Organization (WAHO), the African Key Populations Expert Group (AKPEG), the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are pleased to invite you or your representatives to a public webinar on 14 February 2023 at 10:00 am GMT.
