To build on discussions in UNDP’s 2020 Annual Meeting on the Rule of Law and Human Rights, this public consultation space has been set up to dig deeper into some of the topics discussed and provide an opportunity to connect, network and share on current and future trends in Rule of Law support.
This consultation space also launches a discussion on the The Future We Want To See: Reimagining Rule Of Law, Security and Human Rights and the Inclusive Social Contract, reflecting on successes, challenges and identifying the contemporary challenges and emerging trends in the field where UNDP should plan for the future.
The three discussion rooms will remain open from 29 June – 31 July and an outcome document summarizing key takeaways from the conversations will be shared here. Discussion Rooms

The crowd-sourced insights in these three discussion rooms will contribute to a re-imagination of UNDP’s governance, rule of law and peacebuilding portfolio. They will also be used to inform the design of the UNDP Global Programme on the Rule of Law and Human Rights (2022-2025).
Please take the time to share your feedback and experiences with us so that we can better meet the needs of the Decade of Action for the Sustainable Development Goals; the UN Secretary-General’s Call to Action for Human Rights; the UN Sustaining Peace agenda; UN socio-economic recovery plans, UNDP’s Climate Promise; UNDP Covid Response 2.0; and UNDP Digital Strategy.
Please also utilize this space to connect with each other and identify ways to further our common objective of creating peaceful, just, and inclusive societies.
